MySQL Database Administrator - Contract - 6 months - Hybrid (Herfordshire)

We have an urgent requirement for a database administrator who will help with data migration projects using MySQL, Amazon RDS and Aurora.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead on the deployment and management of databases running on AWS RDS and Aurora.
  • Implement and maintain database security, setting up and maintaining database replication.
  • Monitor and optimise the performance of the databases.

What they are looking for:

  • Proven experience with MySQL v5-8
  • Excellent knowledge of running instances on Amazon RDS and Aurora.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication skill
