Network Architect - Cisco - MUST HAVE A VALID DV
We are currently seeking an experienced Network Architect to join a high-profile digital transformation programme for a major government client. This role is critical to delivering a technical refresh across key networking infrastructure, including Firewalls and secure communications components.
Key Responsibilities:
. Support a large-scale tech refresh project, primarily involving Cisco Firewalls and Enterprise Catapans
. Update existing design documentation to reflect the integration of new networking devices
. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver implementation and migration activities
. Ensure smooth handover of refreshed components to the BAU (Business as Usual) support teams
. Provide regular progress updates and technical input to the project manager
. Contribute to planning and adapting project deliverables in response to any scope or technical changes
Required Skills and Experience:
. Strong expertise in Cisco networking technologies, particularly around Firewalls
. Proven experience in network design, architecture and documentation
. Previous involvement in network refresh or infrastructure upgrade projects
. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes
