Pay Rate: TBC Inside IR35

Role Purpose: We are seeking a meticulous and innovative Network Automation Tester to ensure the quality and security of the products developed by our team. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the integrity of our network services, with a focus on upholding quality standards and ensuring compliance with ISO regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to contribute to technical designs and discussions.
  • Develop and execute test strategies, cases, and plans to ensure thorough coverage and quality assurance.
  • Monitor and report on test metrics, capturing test coverage and failure rates effectively.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to adapt to changes and maintain attention to detail.
  • Strong networking knowledge, including L2 VPN, L3 VPN, EVPN, MPLS, SR, LDP, BGP, and IGP.
  • Experience with network virtualization, containerization, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Proficiency in Unix environments (REHL, Centos) and Python programming.
  • Familiarity with BDD/Gherkin syntax and networking protocols such as NETCONF, REST, RESTCONF, and SOAP.
  • Experience with source control tools like GitLab and working from Jira story tickets.
  • Understanding of agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD methodology and experience with various testing methodologies and automation tools.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience interacting with external stakeholders and customers.
  • Knowledge of database SQL and NoSQL, such as Mongo.
  • Understanding of Cisco NSO service and actions, workflow engines like IAP, service modelling in Yang, and containerization with Docker.
