Network Security Engineer - Italian Speaker - Freelance - Italy
Robson Bale are looking for a Network Security Engineer to come on board for an initial 6 month contract in Italy.
Due to compliance, candidates MUST be based in Italy although the role can be remote.
Candidates MUST speak Italian for this role
6 months, market rate.
Role:
- Implement and maintain complex LAN, WAN, and wireless networks
- Troubleshoot network issues, diagnose problems and identify root causes
- Configure and maintain Firewalls and network security devices
- Provide L3 support to resolve escalated network issues
- Monitor network performance and provide performance reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Participate in the design and implementation of network solutions
- Develop and maintain network documentation
- Perform network capacity planning and analysis
- Stay up-to-date with emerging network technologies and trends
Requirements:
- Experience in network engineering
- Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, wireless and Firewall technologies
- In-depth understanding of routing and switching protocols
- Experience with network security technologies such as VPN, IDS/IPS, and ACLs
- Experience with network monitoring and performance tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or JNCIP are a plus.
