Network Transport Engineer
Description
The Network Transport Engineer will support, operate, and maintain IP transport networks using Cisco and Juniper routing and switching technologies. The role focuses on ensuring reliable, secure, and high-performance network infrastructure across core, aggregation, and access layers.
Key Responsibilities

Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco and Juniper routing and switching platforms

Support core, aggregation, and edge network environments

Perform network upgrades, migrations, and software life cycle management

Monitor performance, availability, and capacity of transport networks

Implement and support secure access and authentication services

Participate in incident resolution, maintenance windows, and change management

Qualifications

3-5+ years of experience in network transport, routing, and switching

Strong knowledge of IP Networking (OSPF, BGP, IS-IS preferred)

Experience in enterprise or service provider environments

Cisco and/or Juniper certifications are a plus
