Project description:
Our client is looking for a Mid–Senior Backend Developer (Node.js) to build the backend part of digital products for startups and enterprise clients on international projects. The role focuses on architecture design, building APIs, and delivering scalable cloud solutions.
Job responsbilities:
- Develop and maintain backend services in Node.js for client digital products.
- Contribute to system architecture and technical solution design with scalability and reliability in mind.
- Design, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.
- Work with databases (relational and/or NoSQL), including data modeling.
- Build and operate backend solutions in the cloud (AWS / Azure / GCP), including deployment and scaling.
- Containerize services and work with Docker.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product teams to deliver and continuously improve client products.
- Node.js (mid-level 3–5 years / senior 5+ years of experience)
- Docker
- Cloud experience: AWS / Azure / GCP (at least on of them)
- Databases: relational and/or NoSQL
- APIs: RESTful and/or GraphQL
- English min. B2 (strong communication)
Nice to have skill:
- Willingness to occasionally visit the office in Prague/Brno (not required)
- Experience with international projects / distributed teams
- Strong interest or experience in architecture and scalable system design (a plus even for mid-level profiles)
