Palo Alto Consultant - 6 months (Long term program)

I'm currently working with a client who is seeking an experienced Palo Alto Consultant for a long-term programme focused on delivering secure, scalable network solutions for a critical infrastructure project. If you have strong expertise in Prisma SD-WAN, this could be a great fit.

Contract Details:

  • Duration: 6 months (with strong potential for extension)
  • Day Rate: £580 - £630 per day
  • IR35 Status: Inside IR35
  • Location: Remote with occasional travel
  • Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, deployment, and optimisation of Prisma SD-WAN across enterprise networks
  • Configure/manage Palo Alto Firewalls, security policies, and Panorama
  • Integrate SD-WAN solutions into existing infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot and tune performance across SD-WAN/Firewall platforms
  • Support network migrations with minimal business disruption
  • Create documentation and deliver knowledge transfer sessions

Experience:

  • Proven experience with Prisma SD-WAN and Palo Alto Networks Firewalls
  • Solid understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and network security
  • Familiar with Zero Trust principles and security best practices
  • Palo Alto certification (eg, PCNSE) preferred
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
