Payroll & Financial Controls Supervisor - 6/12 Month Contract - Up to £230 a day (Inside IR35) - Ideally Hybrid Working: WFH and Glasgow/Falkirk based offices (however, working fully remote could be considered) - Public Sector

Role Duty:

Ensure the timely and accurate provision of the monthly payroll function at the organisation, supporting the financial transactions team to embed control into all the core transactions of the organisation. This role is responsible for maintaining compliance, streamlining payroll procedures, and ensuring the finance function keeps updated with current regulations and best practices.

Essential Skills:

  • Proven work experience with a minimum of four years payroll administration.
  • Highly proficient in the use of computers and business software eg Microsoft office, excel, PowerPoint.
  • Flexible team player, willing to assist with other finance duties to support the overall control of the finance function at theorganisation.

Desirable Skills:

  • BSc/BA in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources or related field; professional certification (eg CPP, CPM) is a plus.
