Platform Engineer - Dutch Speaking
Our client is looking for a Platform Engineer to help maintain and enhance their enterprise-level infrastructure. You will work with large-scale systems, ensuring stability, performance, and scalability.
In this role, you will design, implement, and support platform infrastructure, managing DNS, networking, databases, and system administration tasks. You will deploy and maintain containerised applications using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift, and collaborate closely with teams to ensure reliability and compliance. Troubleshooting complex issues and working with IBM products like IBM WebSphere, IBM MQ, or IBM Cloud will also be part of your responsibilities.
To succeed, you should have experience in large, complex environments and strong knowledge of DNS, databases (SQL, Oracle, DB2), networking, and system administration. Experience with containerisation, Scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud, GCP) is valuable. Familiarity with IBM enterprise products is a strong plus.
This is a full-time, freelance role with long-term prosperity. You must be based in NL and open to working onsite for 1-2 days per week. The client also requires someone proficient in Dutch.
