Presentation specialist - PowerPoint - sought by leading investment bank based in Canary Wharf - contract - on - site

Role Location and Hours:

The role is an evening shift position, working onsite at our Canary Wharf offices, from Monday to Friday, starting at 4.00pm and finishing at midnight with a half hour lunch, working 37.5 hours per week. A taxi will be provided at midnight for your return journey home.

This specialist provides Presentations services, including but not limited to, creation of pitch books, information memoranda and live deal materials. Additionally, the specialist liaises with project coordinators and internal clients (investment & corporate bankers) to clarify briefs and ensure visual excellence in their messaging. The overall objective of this role is to provide day-to-day presentation design support with potentially complex/sensitive documents.

Responsibilities

  • Works closely with presentation specialists and designers, project coordinators, and other teammates to create pitch
  • Assists with the production of creative PPT output and visual solutions to enhance client
  • Liaises directly with workflow staff and clients to determine deadlines, job instructions and design
  • Completes related admin for accurate work billing and job tracking
  • Responsible for quality control of own work, as well as assisting colleagues with QC tasks.

Knowledge/Experience

  • 3 years or above of presentation support in a corporate, service-oriented environment, ideally in a financial institution

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, Diploma OR equivalent
  • 3 years or above of relevant work experience in a corporate, service-oriented environment OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable work experience

Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
  • Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (ie Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Professional)

  • Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills (oral and written).
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced
  • Ability to assess work and make decisions from a technical point of view and prioritize requests
  • Readiness to follow processes, policies
  • Creativity and strong understanding of the fundamental principles of presentation design
