About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on, visionary Data Architect to join our growing team, shaping and delivering enterprise-grade data architectures for clients operating at the intersection of regulation, risk, and technology.
You'll play a pivotal role in defining how data is structured, governed, and trusted across this complex organisation.
What You'll Do

Define and own enterprise data architecture strategies and roadmaps, ensuring alignment across business, risk, and technology domains.

Design and implement data management frameworks covering lineage, metadata, master data, and data quality.

Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models, integrating industry standards such as FpML, FIXML, FIBO, and ISO 20022.

Knowledge of regulatory and risk programmes (BCBS239, Dodd-Frank, Volcker, MiFID, AML/CDD).

Shape data governance operating models, including stewardship roles, taxonomies, and business glossaries.

Evaluate and guide adoption of modern data tooling - Collibra, Informatica, PowerDesigner, Erwin, DataStage, Snowflake, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Partner with senior stakeholders (CDO, CRO, CIO, Compliance Heads) to translate complex business needs into actionable data solutions.
What You Bring

10+ years' experience in data architecture and management within financial services, consulting, or regulated industries.

Proven background in data quality frameworks, metadata management, and data governance operating models.

Strong knowledge of financial data models and regulatory data requirements.

Ability to lead the design of scalable data environments across cloud and on-prem platforms.

Hands-on experience with data modelling tools (PowerDesigner, Erwin, EA Sparx, ARIS) and data quality/governance tools (Collibra, Informatica, IBM InfoSphere, etc.).

Collaborative, pragmatic approach - capable of driving technical detail while communicating clearly with non-technical stakeholders.
