Trust in Soda is working with a leading pharmaceutical client on the search for a procurement Data Analyst, this role does not involve direct reports but requires strong collaboration with various stakeholders, including Project Management, Procurement, Legal, QA, and Finance teams across different sites and divisions.
Job Description:
- Manages and tracks multiple negotiations simultaneously, ensuring timely completion of supply agreements, while providing regular, clear status updates.
- Assists in preparing and developing requests for proposals (RFPs) and drafting contracts.
- Analyzes vendor pricing and terms to ensure competitive costs for goods and services through communication channels like phone, email, quotes, and RFPs.
- Collects, opens, and organizes vendor bid data for evaluation.
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders and suppliers to clarify proposals and provide structured feedback to suppliers.
- Reviews and evaluates data from RFPs to prepare negotiation materials.
- Actively communicates with internal and external customers regarding opportunities and challenges.
- Performs other related tasks as necessary.
- Under general supervision, supports the preparation and analysis of supplier bids to secure competitive pricing and commercial agreements. Assists in the negotiation process by preparing fact-based presentations.
Skills Required:
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and concisely.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and conduct root cause analysis.
- Knowledge of purchasing, tendering, and negotiation principles.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data, creating concise reports.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Education Requirements:
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Life Sciences, or Engineering.
- Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Management.
