Job Title: Product Validation Test Engineer (3-Month Contract, possible extension to 6)

Location: Belgium or Norway

We are currently seeking a skilled Product Validation Test Engineer for a 3-month contract position. As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating and conducting testing, documentation, and certification activities at the submodule/subassembly and end product levels. Your role will involve ensuring that technical solutions adhere to specifications, executing and documenting tests, and ensuring compliance with international standards and safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate in the design and conduct testing and verification of submodule/subassembly within specified constraints, focusing on meeting quality targets and specifications.
  • Ensure accurate implementation of test standards in test procedures and actual testing, guaranteeing compliance with requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive validation plans and promptly escalate any encountered problems.
  • Prepare and deliver project-related documentation and reports for the designated design/submodule/subassembly within the established timeline.
  • Propose and review design modifications and solutions in alignment with provided specifications.
  • Liaise with certification partners when necessary to obtain mandatory product certifications.
  • Effectively engage with external partners, managing interactions and aligning expectations regarding requirements, specifications, cost, timing, and report content.
  • Ensure all test and certification-related documents are properly uploaded and stored in the appropriate location.
  • Possess knowledge of the following standards: IEC 60950, IEC 60601, IEC 62368.
  • Take responsibility for gathering and verifying compliance information for critical components, while also performing other assigned tasks.

Required Education, Competencies, and Experience:

Master's or Bachelor's degree (minimum 4 years) in Electronics or equivalent, accompanied by at least 2 years of relevant job experience.

Strong communication skills and proficiency in English, ability to work well within a team. Candidate will require an understanding of safety critical components and a keen eye for detail.
