Programme / Project Manager – Finance & Systems
For one of our best customers in Europe, we are looking for a Programme / Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives across Finance and technology. This role focuses on delivering finance transformation, systems implementations, and operational improvements in a fast-paced, global environment. You will need to be able to commit to 2 days onsite every week in Amsterdam. 3 days remote. You must have a dutch KVK (company). So it's likely you will be based in the Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Own end-to-end delivery of multiple complex programs across Finance and Technology
  2. Lead systems implementations and process transformation initiatives
  3. Define scope, timelines, risks, and success metrics aligned with business goals
  4. Coordinate cross-functional teams (Finance, Tech, Product, Operations) to ensure delivery
  5. Manage dependencies, risks, and stakeholder communication at senior levels
  6. Drive change management and adoption of new processes and systems
  7. Improve project delivery standards and operational efficiency

Requirements
  1. 8+ years of program/project management experience in finance environments
  2. Strong experience in technology delivery / systems implementation
  3. Proven ability to lead cross-functional, business + tech programs
  4. Solid knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies
  5. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills (up to senior leadership)
  6. Hands-on, pragmatic, and comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments

Nice to Have
  1. Experience in finance transformation or operational excellence
  2. ERP/finance systems knowledge (ideally SAP)
  3. PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Lean/Six Sigma certifications
