Description

The Project Manager for Procurement enables procurement activities across all project phases and drives the development of digital monitoring and reporting solutions. This role focuses on improving procurement processes, removing system bottlenecks, and aligning procurement execution with overall project objectives.
Responsibilities
  1. Analyze full procurement lifecycle from planning/tendering to contract execution and close-out
  2. Identify and drive improvements in pre- and post-award processes to eliminate inefficiencies and streamline workflows
  3. Define, develop and implement solutions to resolve system-related blockers
  4. (e.g., ACC, ERP, or contract management platforms)
  5. Develop and manage contractor KPIs to monitor performance and implement reporting frameworks that highlight delays, risks, and mitigation actions
  6. Set up procurement reporting tools and dashboards to ensure transparency and
  7. data availability for all stakeholders
  8. Collaborate with project controls, legal, engineering, and commercial teams to ensure procurement aligns with project needs and timelines
Qualifications
  1. Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  2. Experience as project manager in procurement, ideally in large-scale construction projects
  3. Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects
  4. Proficiency in procurement and contract management systems (e.g., ACC, SAP, or equivalent)
  5. Experience in data analysis, reporting, and KPI development tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.)
  6. Strong stakeholder management skills with focus on aligning involved areas
Profile:
  1. Understanding of procurement, tender and contract processes
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  3. Experience in large scale, fast paced construction projects
  4. Openness to new topics and challenges in technically complex situations ‘agile mindset’
  5. Confident handling of MS Office or similar
  6. Business fluent in English
  7. Structured way of working
Conditions:
  1. Language: English
  2. Start: Dec 2025; duration at least 6 months with option of extension
  3. Scope: 5 man-days per week
  4. Location: up to 75% Northern Sweden, 25% remote
