PVITC_CAT Engineer (BEV Propulsion Testing)- Onsite UK

We are seeking a PVITC_CAT Engineer to support Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) propulsion testing and Customer Acceptance Testing (CAT) activities within a major UK automotive OEM environment.

This role focuses on first-level triage (L0 analysis) of powertrain and charging system issues, ensuring high-quality issue resolution through collaboration with engineering and quality teams. Send CV to (marcillina.tietjen@dcvtechnologies.co.uk) if you are interested.

Contract: Contract role

• Lead triage of propulsion and charging system issues raised through CAT

• Perform first-level technical analysis (L0) and ensure high-quality data capture

• Route issues to correct engineering delivery teams for resolution

• Support issue replication on test rigs and vehicles

• Track issue/project status with quality and platform teams

• Generate process metrics and reporting for stakeholders

• Maintain effective information exchange within domain teams

• Understanding of vehicle systems and BEV propulsion architecture

• Experience with powertrain issue triage and analysis

• Data analysis and reporting using INCA or equivalent tools

• Strong structured problem-solving skills

• Ability to read and prepare engineering documentation

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement

• Full UK driving licence

• Experience testing high voltage components or systems

• Degree qualified or equivalent experience
