Programming with MATLAB and Python.
The main task is to convert an existing Python-based optimizer into a MATLAB version so that it can be used with a specific third-party application called Homer Grid.

Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced developer with a strong background in MATLAB and Python programming. The primary task for this role involves converting a Python-based optimizer into a MATLAB version, enabling compatibility and integration with a third-party application (Homer Grid).
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse and understand the existing Python-based optimizer.
Develop a MATLAB version of the optimizer, ensuring feature parity and performance efficiency.
Work closely with the team to integrate the MATLAB optimizer with Homer Grid software.
Maintain clear and detailed documentation throughout the development process.
Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
Provide regular updates and progress reports to project stakeholders.

Very Good MATLAB Knowledge
Good Python Knowledge
Very Good Communication Skills
Knowledge of Homer Grid or similar (eg PVSol)
Desirable Skills:
Knowledge of Energy trading markets
Electrical engineering knowledge
Experience in optimising battery systems
