Job Title: Quality Engineer
Location: County Cork, Ireland
Duration: Immediate start, approximately 6 months with potential for extension
Daily Rate: up to €750/day

Our client, a prominent player in power generation, seeks a dedicated Quality Engineer to join their team at the Aghada CCGT Station. This role involves overseeing overhaul works, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and project timelines.


  • Support the project manager in ensuring safe and efficient project delivery.
  • Supervise works and ensure compliance with quality protocols.
  • Report progress to the project team and address any issues as they arise.


  • Strong communication skills and experience with Gas and Steam Turbine overhauls.
  • Knowledge of Turbomachinery testing and assembly protocols.
  • Familiarity with Mechanical, Electrical, and C&I issues related to Turbomachinery plant.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in safety and environmental management.
  • Previous experience managing overhauls in GT26 based combined cycle stations.
  • Understanding of contract management.


  • Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification required.
  • Ideally, a primary engineering degree or relevant discipline, along with Occupational Health and Safety certification.
