Location: Belgium (50% onsite – 2 to 3 days per week)

We are looking for an experienced Release Engineer to join a leading enterprise environment in Belgium. This role involves managing and coordinating software releases across multiple agile teams within a complex IT landscape. You’ll work closely with development squads, infrastructure teams, product owners, and test engineers to ensure timely and smooth releases.
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain a tribe-level release calendar aligned with business priorities and architecture.
Consolidate individual squad plans into a comprehensive release plan.
Track delivery progress and proactively address risks, bottlenecks, and delays.
Create detailed deployment runbooks and ensure stakeholder approval.
Coordinate release execution and communication across multiple stakeholders.
Promote configuration management best practices and support the adoption of software versioning.
Foster Agile ways of working and servant leadership values.
Requirements
Must-have:
Proven experience in release management and software configuration management.
Strong planning and coordination skills with multi-team and multi-project environments.
Excellent communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to produce and manage runbooks and delivery documentation.
Nice to have:
Familiarity with continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.
Experience working in Agile or SAFe environments.
