This is a freelance position that will be a 6 month contract with possible extensions

The role is completely remote

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce/HubSpot Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will support our CRM consultants in defining project scope, driving projects using Agile methodologies, and ensuring the successful implementation and integration of Salesforce and HubSpot platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of CRM processes, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Project Scope and Planning: Collaborate with CRM consultants to define project scope and size, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Agile Project Management: Drive projects using Agile methodologies, facilitating smooth workflow and continuous delivery of value.
  • Requirements Gathering: Conduct and facilitate requirements workshops, analyze and gather detailed business requirements, and secure sign-off from stakeholders.
  • Process Mapping: Map current (AS-IS) and future (TO-BE) business processes to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • User Story Creation: Develop epics and user stories for Salesforce Engineers, including design suggestions tailored to Salesforce and HubSpot capabilities.
  • Quality Assurance: Work closely with the QA team to review test cases and outputs, ensuring that the developed solution meets the documented requirements.
  • Support UAT and Bug Triage: Assist stakeholders during User Acceptance Testing (UAT), identify and triage bugs, and support root cause analysis.
  • Training and Documentation: Provide Train-the-Trainer sessions and create functional documentation to support project rollouts.
  • Post-Go-Live Support: Offer ongoing support through post-go-live and hyper-care phases to ensure smooth adoption and operation.
  • Platform Configuration: Configure and customize Salesforce and HubSpot platforms to meet evolving business needs.
  • Workflow and Reporting: Develop and maintain HubSpot workflows, reports, dashboards, and other tools to support business operations.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure data integrity and consistency across Salesforce and HubSpot systems.


Required Technical Skills:
  • CRM Expertise: Extensive experience with CRM processes, particularly in B2B environments, and strong process mapping skills.
  • Salesforce Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce.com, including configuration and customization.
  • HubSpot Expertise: 3+ years of experience managing HubSpot, particularly in handling marketing emails, contacts, and Salesforce integration.
  • Agile Methodologies: Proficiency in Agile project management and use of process design tools like Signavio.


Preferred Technical Skills:
  • Industry Experience: Consulting experience in the retail industry.
  • Certifications: Salesforce Business Analyst Certification, HubSpot Email Marketing Course, HubSpot CRM Data Migration Certification.
  • Tool Proficiency: Experience with Jira, Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides), and a strong functional understanding of Salesforce CRM Platform capabilities.


Required Soft Skills:
  • Communication: Proficient in English (B2 level), with strong communication skills for interacting with stakeholders and team members.
  • Certification: Salesforce Administrator Certification and HubSpot Marketing Certification are advantageous.
  • Teamwork: A team player who communicates respectfully, shares responsibilities, and contributes to the team's success.
  • Adaptability: Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new situations, and respond constructively to shifting priorities and timelines.
  • Problem-Solving: Creative problem solver who can work from a blank slate and inspire others.
