Description
For a client of Visser & van Baars, I am currently looking for a freelance SAP BI Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining reporting solutions. You should have a thorough understanding of SAP HANA and data integration, and will be responsible for designing and implementing business requirements as well as ensuring data accuracy in reports.
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on SAP HANA development and SAP HANA modelling experience (required).
- Extensive experience with SAP HANA XSA development.
- Strong knowledge of SAP HANA SQL, stored procedures, and functions.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of calculation views and stored procedures.
- Exposure to XSA & DB Security concepts (roles, privileges, etc.).
- Experience with OData using XSOData (required).
- Experience with Application Function Libraries, search, text analysis and mining, spatial, and graph engines (a plus).
- Experience with Git concepts (GitHub/GitLab) (required).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (a plus).
- Knowledge of SDA/SDI and SLT (an advantage).
- Experience with the CAP framework (an advantage).
- Comprehensive knowledge of XSOData, XSJS, SAPUI5, Gateway, and Fiori application deployment (an added advantage).
Starting Date: as soon as possible.
Contract duration: 6 months with the option to extend.
Hours per week: 40 hours.
Location: Remote.
