Description

Within the Bosch group, the sap system is being converted from R/3 to S/4. For this purpose, an SAP MDG-M consultant is required for the successful realization of the requirements engineering in the design and build process.

We are seeking a skilled SAP Master Data Governance for Material (MDG-M) Consultant to support the successful transition from SAP R/3 to S/4 within the Bosch group, focusing on requirements engineering during the design and build phases.

The required skills would be:

- Deep knowledge of SAP Master Data Governance for Material (SAP MDG-M), S/4 and other relevant IT systems
- Experience in the area of SAP material master data management, preferably in the conversion from SAP R/3 to SAP S/4
- Experience in requirements engineering and in translating business requirements into technical specifications
- Ability to analyze complex problems, develop innovative solutions and bring about decisions considering the context
- Experience of managing change in organizations to ensure a smooth transition
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams to understand and implement material master data requirements
- Experience in defining and implementing processes to ensure data quality and integrity
- Knowledge of data migration, conversion and integration
- Experience in the successful management of complex projects, ideally in the SAP area
- Understanding of SAP R/3 and SAP S/4 functionalities and their differences


Optional skills include:

- Know-how in S/4 cloud-projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders

Main activities:

- Responsible for the effective management and maintenance of material master data in the Bosch systems
- Planning, implementing and the optimization of processes related to material master data as well as ensuring data quality and integrity
- Working closely with various departments and stakeholders to ensure that material master data meets business requirements and ensures the smooth functioning of logistical and financial processes
- Implement a continuous improvement process and drive standardization/harmonization

Other responsibilities within the project include:

- Provide an efficient central system and tool landscape according to Bosch requirements globally
- Analyze, optimize and enhance infrastructure of global existing systems
- Set-up lean processes and ensure compliance by user-oriented communication and training
- Define capability roadmap and work packages to deliver the vision of a seamless user journey
- Analyze and define business process requirements with customers, key stakeholders, project manager or product owner
- Design and implement process / responsible for change management, measure business impact
- Drive continuous process improvement and process innovation to decrease operational and maintenance costs
- Provide user orientated process and relevant IT system documentation
