Job OverviewAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Consultant. This role offers flexibility with a hybrid or remote work setup and occasional travel to specific business sites. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the SAP Platform applications and any project-related solution development. This role requires collaboration with both internal teams and external partners, operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 2nd/3rd line support for incidents logged with the service desk, in line with agreed SLAs.
- Design and deliver technical/functional solutions based on specifications and blueprints, ensuring alignment with standards and procedures.
- Perform unit and integration testing, ensuring timely delivery in line with project timelines.
- Support the development, testing, and deployment of functional components based on business requirements.
- Assist in delivering small projects under the guidance of the Plant Maintenance Solution Lead.
- Liaise with business users internally and with SAP externally to support system solutions.
- Ensure the successful implementation of new functional solutions into production, preparing necessary support documentation.
- Develop and deliver release notes and conduct training for key users on new or enhanced functionality.
- Document detailed functional solutions and provide technical expertise in systems applications.
- Stay updated with new technologies and best practices to identify and leverage new opportunities.
Your Profile:
Applicants are expected to demonstrate expertise in many of the following:
- Deep subject matter expertise in SAP PM Module.
- Strong experience in SAP PM functional development and support, ideally in an operational service and maintenance environment.
- Specific knowledge of key SAP PM elements such as:
- Service BOMs
- Functional Location Structures
- PM Orders, Notifications, Task Lists
- Maintenance Scheduling and Resource Management
- Equipment Records, Serialisation, Split Valuation, and Project Stock.
- Good understanding of integration with other SAP modules.
- Experience in completing at least two full systems implementation lifecycle.
- Proven experience working in a multi-project, matrix-managed environment.
- Knowledge of systems development, project management methodologies, and ASAP methodology.
- Industry experience in supporting manufacturing operations is highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of iPPE (Integrated Product and Process Engineering) is a plus.
Desirable Qualifications:
- SAP module certification in the relevant area is desirable.
- Degree qualification in IT or a similar relevant field.
