Are you open to a new freelance opportunity, am headhunting for the following:

SAP Super User / Trainer Manufacturing (S/4HANA Transformation)

Onsite – Near Stockholm, Sweden
Contract – 24 Months
Area – Manufacturing / Production Assembly

Overview

We are supporting an existing SAP customer on a major SAP S/4HANA transformation programme, and are seeking an experienced SAP Super User / Trainer to join their Production Assembly function onsite near Stockholm.

This is a business-facing role, sitting between operations and IT, where you will play a critical part in preparing the organisation for the transition to S/4HANA.

You will work closely with assembly, warehousing, materials handling, and quality teams (130+ users) to:
  1. Understand current processes
  2. Upskill users on SAP
  3. Support process improvements
  4. Ensure a smooth transition to S/4HANA

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Engagement & Process Understanding
  1. Build a deep understanding of end-to-end production assembly processes
  2. Engage with 100+ assembly users and ~30 materials handling & quality users
  3. Map current (“as-is”) processes across:
  4. Warehousing
  5. Production
  6. Quality Inspection
  7. Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and training needs

2. Training & Change Enablement
  1. Act as the go-to SAP expert for business users
  2. Design and deliver hands-on SAP training sessions
  3. Support users in understanding:
  4. How SAP supports their daily work
  5. Best practices in process execution
  6. Create training materials, guides, and documentation
  7. Drive user adoption and confidence ahead of S/4HANA go-live

3. S/4HANA Transformation Support
  1. Support the business through the transition from current SAP landscape to S/4HANA
  2. Help translate business requirements into system understanding
  3. Work alongside project and IT teams during:
  4. Testing (UAT support)
  5. Process validation
  6. Go-live preparation
  7. Act as a bridge between business users and SAP project teams

4. Master Data Awareness & Governance
  1. Develop and promote understanding of master data concepts, including:
  2. Material Master
  3. BOMs
  4. Work Centres / Routings
  5. Educate users on:
  6. Why master data quality is critical
  7. Impact on production, warehousing, and quality processes
  8. Support improvements in data accuracy and governance

5. Post-Go-Live Support (eventually)
  1. Provide floor-walking support during go-live
  2. Troubleshoot user issues and reinforce best practices
  3. Help embed new S/4HANA processes into daily operations

Required Experience

  1. Strong experience as an SAP Super User, Trainer, or Key User
  2. Proven background in manufacturing / production environments
  3. Hands-on experience across at least two of:
  4. Production (PP)
  5. Warehousing / Logistics (WM/EWM/MM)
  6. Quality Management (QM)
  7. Experience supporting or working on an SAP S/4HANA transformation (or ECC ? S/4 transition)

Key Skills & Attributes

  1. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  2. Ability to work closely with shop-floor teams and operational staff
  3. Strong understanding of end-to-end manufacturing processes
  4. Comfortable delivering training to large and varied user groups
  5. Ability to explain complex SAP concepts in simple, practical terms
  6. Strong awareness of master data importance and impact

Nice to Have

  1. Experience in assembly / discrete manufacturing environments
  2. Exposure to UAT, testing cycles, or SAP deployments
  3. Experience working in international or multi-site organisations
  4. Previous experience in a change / transformation programme
