What You’ll Do:
Design and develop applications for geophysical data analysis and visualization
Collaborate with geoscientists and engineers across Europe and North America
Optimize algorithms and build robust client-cloud architectures
Ensure high code quality with testing, CI/CD, and secure development practices
Lead troubleshooting, mentoring, and agile delivery
What You Bring:
5+ years in scientific/geophysical software development
Strong skills in Java, C++, OpenGL (2D/3D), and cloud-native design
Experience with tools like SEG-Y, Petrel, GeoFrame, or OpenVDS
Proficiency in scientific libraries (NumPy, TensorFlow, CUDA), RESTful APIs, and Kubernetes
Familiarity with GitLab, VS Code, Draw.io, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile practices
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have professional experience in the geology, oil, or gas industry.
If not, a relevant academic background (e.g., a degree in geology, petroleum engineering, or geoscience) is required.
Preferred Background:
BS/MS in Computer Science, Geoscience, Applied Math, or related field
Domain knowledge in seismic, fault, and velocity modeling data
