Description

We're working with a top-tier quantitative trading firm hiring a Senior C++ Developer to join their FPGA & Order Entry team in London. This elite team is responsible for building and maintaining the ultra-low-latency infrastructure that connects their algorithmic trading platform to nearly 50 global exchanges-delivering high-performance execution in some of the most competitive and time-sensitive markets in the world. Engineers in this team operate at the intersection of cutting-edge hardware and software, solving complex technical challenges that have real-world impact.

You'll collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the industry, contributing to one of the most latency-sensitive components of a global trading platform. The environment is fast-paced, intellectually stimulating, and highly rewarding for engineers who thrive on performance, precision, and pushing the limits of what's possible in modern systems. You'll be part of a culture that values innovation, autonomy, and technical excellence-where your work directly influences trading outcomes at nanosecond scale.Responsibilities:

  • Deploy and optimise colocation setups for ultra-low-latency trading
  • Implement binary protocols for exchange connectivity
  • Integrate and deploy specialised FPGA technologies to achieve low-latency execution
  • Maintain and enforce stringent risk controls across all systems
Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in modern C++ and C# development
  • Strong background in high-performance Linux environments
  • Proven experience with Order Entry Systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

If you're excited by the challenge of building systems that operate at nanosecond scale, and want to work on some of the most technically demanding problems in global trading, we encourage you to apply to learn more.
