Senior Java/Clojure Developer - JVM Languages (IE Java) - Clojure - AWS - Git/BitBucket - Remote
Empiric has received an exciting opportunity for a Snr Java Developer with strong skills in JVM and any object-oriented language (Java, C#, C++, Python, etc.).
Plus experience in Clojure is essential.
The client is looking for Java/Clojure Developers with experience in writing automated acceptance tests in Cucumber, Rest Assured, etc. (CI/CD pipelines). Together with skills with SQL and NoSQL databases (Cassandra, Redis or Other)
Knowledge of CI/CD (Jenkins a plus)
Also you will work as part of a development Scrum team in an Agile environment that is geographically diverse.
For an initial period at the start, the Java Developer may need to attend a meeting in Budapest, expenses allowance will be paid for this
Skills/experience:
- JVM (IE Java)
- Clojure
- Writing automated acceptance tests in Cucumber, Rest Assured, etc
- Strong Front End in react, Typescript, redux
- SQL and NoSQL databases (Cassandra, Redis or Other)
- SAFE Agile.
- CI/CD ( Jenkins)
- Cloud-based server environments; (AWS ideally)
Term: 6 to 12 months plus possible extensions
