We are hiring a Senior Mainframe Application Developer to join a leading global technology organization supporting enterprise-scale systems in the financial services domain. This role requires strong expertise in COBOL, CICS, and IBM MQ, with a mandatory onsite presence in Wilmington, DE.

Location: Wilmington (Onsite – 5 days/week)
Type: Full-time (FTE only)
Salary: $115K
Experience: 10+ years

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop, maintain, and enhance applications on IBM z/OS mainframe systems
  2. Work across COBOL, CICS, DB2, MQ, VSAM, JCL environments
  3. Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution
  4. Participate in on-call support rotation (including weekends)
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in large enterprise environments
  6. Ensure adherence to SDLC, CI/CD, resiliency, and security practices
  7. Debug and optimize legacy and modernized mainframe applications
