Project description:
We are looking for a Senior Manual Tester to join a project focused on data integrations and data pipelines in an Azure environment. The role is mainly about end-to-end data flow validation, checking transformations and data quality, working with Databricks, and maintaining solid test documentation. Ideal for a senior candidate with strong communication skills, flexibility, and a proactive mindset.

Job resposibilities:
  1. Manual testing of data pipelines (ETL/ELT) and E2E data flows
  2. Designing and executing test cases, regression and functional testing, recording results
  3. Data validation using SQL (consistency, completeness, correctness of transformations)
  4. Validating JSON payloads (structure, content)
  5. Working in Azure DevOps (test cases, test runs, defect reporting)
  6. Using Databricks Notebooks and Python / PySpark scripts for data checks

Must have skill:
  1. 4–5+ years of testing experience (senior level)
  2. Strong manual testing background + high-quality documentation (functional & regression tests)
  3. SQL (writing/executing queries for data validation)
  4. JSON (understanding structure and validating payloads)
  5. Basic understanding of ETL/ELT and testing data flows
  6. Azure DevOps (test management + bug reporting)
  7. Databricks Notebooks + hands-on experience with Python / PySpark
Nice to have skill:
  1. Azure Data Lake / Blob Storage (reading/inspecting files)
  2. Azure SQL
  3. Basic Python for simple data checks (not automation)
