Role Purpose: Join our telco client as a Senior Network Automation Developer, where you will provide technical leadership and hands-on development work within your assigned development squad. Your role is crucial in supporting and directing developers to meet the objectives of Jira stories and produce quality code. You will work closely with the tech lead and product owner to design service intents that meet customer outcomes and contribute to a cycle of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Visualize customer requirements into automatable steps, creating a clear workflow and Jira stories.
  • Exhibit leadership skills to maintain technical authority over the development squad.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in development5678.

Essential Must-Have Skills:

  • Strong soft skills, including excellent communication abilities and the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD development approaches and a working knowledge of NETCONF, REST, RESTCONF, SOAP, and Unix (REHL, Centos).
  • Python coding skills with an object-oriented approach and familiarity with Kafka/messaging bus and service modelling in Yang

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Knowledge of API design, documentation, and database management with SQL and NoSQL (eg, Mongo).
  • Excellent networking skills, including understanding of L2 VPN, L3 VPN, EVPN, MPLS, SR, LDP, BGP, and IGP
