Position Summary:
Required Technical Skill Set:
8+ years of experience in RAN site acceptance testing and field validation. Hands-on experience in multi-vendor RAN deployments (Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei, Samsung).ATP reports, Review, Troubleshooting, 4G, 5G NSA/SA, ORAN,CU ,DU
Telco experience required.
Desired Experience Range: 8+ Yrs. of experience.
Language Requirements: German (Must)
Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)
Requirements:
Develop and execute ATP plans for new RAN sites, including hardware, software, and integration verification.
Perform functional and drive test validation to ensure compliance with operator requirements.
Strong and clear understanding on Acceptance reports like Checks for Active installation after Site Civil Works & Construction, Checks for parameters such as such as node visibility, golden parameters, alarm check, UL/DL RSSI levels, etc, Checks for call functionality parameters (throughput, latency, etc.), Checks related to external alarms such as battery, rectifier, AC Input, etc.
Validate radio configurations, power levels, VSWR, antenna alignments, and KPI thresholds.
Conduct on-site inspections and troubleshooting of RAN components (RU, DU, CU).
Identify issues related to interference, handovers, call drops, and latency, and work with vendors for resolution.
Perform ATP for multi-vendor environments, ensuring interoperability between different RAN suppliers.
Validate Open RAN compliance with O-RAN Alliance specifications.
Verify cloud-native RAN deployments and containerized functions in vRAN/O-RAN setups.
Report site acceptance results and provide corrective actions for underperforming sites.
Implement automated test scripts for ATP validation (Python, Ansible).
Support remote monitoring and testing solutions to reduce site visits.
Ensure all site ATP activities align with 3GPP, O-RAN, and operator standards.
Maintain detailed reports, logs, and acceptance certificates for site approval.
Provide final site acceptance sign-off before handing over to operations.
Skills:
Experience in RAN site acceptance testing and field validation.
Hands-on experience in multi-vendor RAN deployments (Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei, Samsung).
Experience with cloud-native and Open RAN architectures is a plus.
