Job Title: Senior Data Engineer - SAP Analytics & Agile Lead

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with a passion for building analytical solutions on SAP Data to help maximize the value of our data assets. In this role, you will work with one of the largest and most volume-intensive SAP BW installations globally, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure optimal utilization of our SAP BW investment.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will lead programming sessions, present complex solutions, and guide teams in building scalable, robust platforms. You will deploy analytical features across SAP BW, SAP OLTP systems, and various third-party tools such as Microsoft and Google products.

Your leadership will foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and trust, with close collaboration with Product Area leadership and engineers to align on key goals. You will also drive Agile development practices, leveraging your Scrum Master experience to facilitate continuous team improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in SAP BW development
  • At least 3 full life cycle implementations on SAP BW/BW4HANA with HANA modelling
  • Expertise in SAP BW Retail scenarios (eg, General Ledger, Billing, Inventory Management, POS data, Warehouse transactions)
  • Experience with Front End analytics (SAP Analytics Cloud, PowerBI)
  • Proficient in Datasphere, CDS Views-based data modelling, and integration with SAP BW
  • Strong experience with Data Volume Management and handling large data volumes
  • Knowledge of Integrated Planning/BPC
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills, with Scrum Master experience
  • Proven experience in Agile environments and facilitating Scrum ceremonies
  • Fluent in English; Swedish is a plus
