Description
We’re looking for a product-minded Senior Software Engineer who thrives in complexity. You’ll join Sinch’s engineering team in Stockholm, where you’ll be at the heart of building and scaling backend systems that power communications worldwide. If you enjoy diving deep into architecture, solving intricate technical puzzles, and delivering robust solutions that millions rely on you’ll feel right at home.
What You’ll Do
• Design, build, and run production-grade backend systems with a focus on quality, reliability, and scalability.
• Take ownership of features end-to-end—from architecture and coding through to deployment and monitoring.
• Drive clean, testable, and maintainable code with a DevOps-first approach.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and fellow engineers to deliver impactful solutions.
• Share knowledge and mentor peers in best practices across engineering and DevOps.
What You Bring
• Strong experience with C# and .NET Core in production environments.
• Hands-on experience running distributed systems in the cloud, ideally on AWS.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and automation.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Based in Stockholm (or willing to work on-site/hybrid locally).
Bonus Points For
• Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes in production.
• Experience with service-oriented architectures at scale.
• Database experience: MySQL, MSSQL, Redis.
• Exposure to VoIP protocols (SIP) or real-time media services (e.g., Asterisk).
• Additional languages like C++, Python, or Kotlin—or simply the curiosity to learn.
