Service Architect - Fully Remote - 8 - 10-week contract (Paternity & holiday cover) - Inside IR35

Here at Lucid we have an exciting opportunity for a Service Architect, this will be a contract for 8-10 weeks whilst a member of the team is on Paternity leave. This role will be fully remote.

The Service Architect is responsible for creating and designing full end to end service solutions for new and existing customers. The SA is responsible for the ownership of the design and proposed solutions for prospective and existing customers. The Service Architect will continually engage across all internal teams to define, build, and recommend services and solutions for customers. The successful candidate will predominantly be working within a structured bid team and will continually collaborate across both the Services, Sales, operational and commercial teams.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Work as a key resource within a Bid Team to provide comprehensive and winning answers to tender questions and proposals.
  • Review and interrogate new bids and tenders for qualification and Bid/No Bid decisions.
  • Build the commercial model with internal commercial analysts as required.
  • Design and Propose new got to market packaged services
  • Work collaboratively with Solution Architects to create Service wraps for Solution Designs.
  • Engage with vendors, third parties and suppliers to discuss potential technologies and delivery
  • Work closely with Service Transition Managers to help create and Architect the Service Designed
  • Define and document non-standard or bespoke products, services or features that are needed to deliver the service

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

  • Excellent knowledge of Service Operations, including Service Desk, Onsite Support and EUC.
  • Ability to translate and understand customers business and service requirements and service specifications.
  • Ability to manage administration and multiple tasks in an accurate and timely manner
  • Commercially aware and able to meet stringent budget criteria in Solution Creation
  • Ability to communicate effectively at the appropriate levels, internally and externally
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bid/Answer writing and explanation
  • Stakeholder management skills
