Description
I am actively recruiting for a Service Designer to start a 6-month contract with a large Central Government organisation. The associate will have a strong understanding of ways of working in Government and how it impacts digital delivery. The role is inside IR35 paying up to £600/day and remotely based with 1 day per week onsite.
Extensive Central Government experience is essential for this position.
The role will include work on large complex services across multiple departments and the associate will need to have experience working in government digital delivery and digital transformation including experience in service design and working with policy, operational, and other professions to deliver digital outcomes.
The associate will have an understanding of the importance of inclusive, equitable, accessible, and sustainable public services and have experience in designing services for users in complex environments. Making effective decisions with user research data and producing simple designs with large data amounts is key to this position Prototyping experience is essential for this role along with User focus knowledge to collaborate with User Researchers.
