ServiceNow Architect (Contract)
Duration: 6 months initially, likely to extend
Rate: £500-£550 per day
Location: Fully remote with optional site visits to Glasgow/Edinburgh
I'm seeking an experienced ServiceNow Architect for an exciting contract opportunity. As a co-leader in platform development, you will work alongside the ServiceNow technical product manager, focusing on Workflow Automation, CMDB Integration, Frontend Service Portal, and ITSM Maturity.
In this role, you will contribute to a previously refreshed platform, applying best practices and driving its automation journey. Your responsibilities will include business analysis, handling complex user requirements, and translating them into technical architecture.
Experience with integrations (eg, Teams, AWS, Forescout) will be highly advantageous. Familiarity with ITIL practices and various current technologies is essential.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrable knowledge of ServiceNow platform mechanics and best practices.
- Integration and orchestration expertise.
- Strong understanding of CMDB and Asset Management.
- Proficiency in JavaScript development within and independently of the ServiceNow framework.
- CSDM 3.0 knowledge.
- Extensive experience with Self-Service Portal beyond Catalogue Items.
- Proficiency in HTML, XML, CSS, and JSON.
- Excellent teamwork, self-management, coaching, collaboration, and communication skills.
