Description

Glocomms are working with an IT Consultancy that are looking for a Service Now Developer on a long-term freelance project. As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for developing and designing technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform, specifically focusing on IRM, BCM, and SecOps. You will provide application development, maintenance, and technical support, adhering to ServiceNow best practices. The role encompasses Cyber Security and IT Risk (IRM, BCM & SecOps).

Contract Length: 12 months (renewable)

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Portugal or Lisbon (2 days per week on site)

Languages: English

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure and code UI changes, workflows, reports, data imports, integrations, scripting, and custom application development.
  • Develop service request process flows based on user requirements using Service Catalog, Workflow, Events, and Notifications.
  • Create reusable utilities to maintain low-code solutions.
  • Develop Service Portals according to user requirements using ServiceNow platform tools and modules.
  • Develop ServiceNow applications, including process automation, customizations, integrations (SOAP/REST), scheduled events, and server-side/client-side scripting with AngularJS to meet business needs.
  • Create and maintain system technical design and specifications documentation.
  • Analyze and understand user requirements and current procedures to enhance system capabilities, automate workflows, and address scheduling limitations throughout the ServiceNow roadmap.
  • Perform system and integration testing by providing test data for developed scenarios.
  • Support analysts with technical feasibility assessments and data.


Technical Skills:
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
  • Proficiency in ITSM, CMDB, HRSD, Performance Analytics, App-Engine for Scoped Applications, ITBM, and Service Portal technologies.
  • Preferred but not required: Experience with ServiceNow GRC/IRM, SecOps, and BCM.


Language Skills:
  • Mastery of English (mandatory).

  • Ability to make pragmatic decisions in a dynamic environment, aligned with strategic goals.
