Role: ServiceNow Developer
Start Date: March 2026
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands
Duration: 6 Months
Language: Must be fluent in Dutch and English languages
Work Mode: Hybrid (2–3 days onsite per week)

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and implement scalable ServiceNow solutions while collaborating closely with business stakeholders to deliver high-quality platform capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and develop workflows, integrations, notifications, and automated flows within ServiceNow.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle, providing technical expertise and ensuring alignment with business requirements.
  3. Support deployments using Source Control, Update Sets, and CI/CD pipelines to enable smooth promotion from development to production environments.

Required Experience
  1. Proven hands-on experience in ServiceNow implementations (minimum one full implementation).
  2. Strong development experience across ITSM and SPM modules.
  3. Employee Service Center / Portals
  4. Knowledge Management, Chat, and Mobile Workflows
  5. ServiceNow scripting and customization
  6. CMDB and Application Portfolio Management (APM)
  7. Configuration Management
  8. Basic and advanced widget development
  9. IT Operations Management (ITOM) – basic and advanced capabilities
  10. IRM / SecOps
  11. HRSD
  12. TPRM (Third-Party Risk Management)

Required Competencies
  1. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  2. ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in relevant modules
  3. Strong scripting expertise
  4. Experience working in Agile environments
  5. Proactive and results-driven mindset
  6. Software Development Practices (TDD, BDD, ADD)
  7. Clean code principles and architecture
  8. Refactoring and technical debt management
  9. Adherence to coding standards
  10. Experience using AI-assisted coding tools

Soft Skills
  1. Goal-oriented and collaborative team player
  2. Ability to perform effectively under pressure
