Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our dynamic team. As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions to meet the needs of our organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, customize applications, and ensure optimal performance and functionality of ServiceNow applications. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and enhancement of our IT service management processes and workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows based on business requirements and best practices.
  • Customize and configure ServiceNow modules such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Service Catalog, Asset Management, and CMDB.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, identify system enhancements, and propose solutions to improve IT service delivery.
  • Develop and implement integrations between ServiceNow and other systems or tools, utilizing RESTful APIs, web services, and Scripting languages.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and deployment guides.
  • Perform testing and quality assurance activities to ensure the stability, reliability, and performance of ServiceNow applications.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for ServiceNow applications, resolving technical issues, and ensuring timely resolution of incidents and problems.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow releases, features, and enhancements, and provide recommendations for adopting new functionalities to improve business processes.
  • Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to establish best practices, coding standards, and development guidelines for ServiceNow applications.
  • Participate in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of ServiceNow plugins, extensions, and third-party applications.
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer, working on the development and customization of ServiceNow applications.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform features, including Service Catalog, Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Asset Management, CMDB, and Reporting.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies for customizing and extending ServiceNow.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Scripting (Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, etc.) and customization of UI/UX using Service Portal or CMS.
  • Familiarity with integration methodologies such as RESTful APIs, web services, SOAP, JSON, and XML.
  • Solid understanding of ITIL processes and IT service management concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • ServiceNow certifications, such as Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), are a plus.
