SIEM Engineer - SC Cleared - FULL-TIME on site - £545 p/d OUTSIDE IR35

Our client is currently looking for a SIEM Engineer to join them for a 6 month contract initially. The role is offering £545 per day outside IR35. You will be required to be on site 5 days per week and the office is based near Milton Keynes - commutable from Northampton, East Midlands, Bedford, Luton or Central London.

This role is working in a Security Cleared environment. A minimum of SC clearance is required for this role. Therefore, you will need to hold current, active SC Clearance.

Experience Required:
- Expert knowledge of LogRhythm and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions
- Experience of Huntsman
- Extensive experience and knowledge of IT Security Operations tools and technology, corporate IT infrastructure, networks and application security solutions
- Perform penetration tests, vulnerability and risk assessments
- Develop or implement security tools to assist in detection, prevention and analysis of security threats
- Experience creating Dashboards and Analytics within SIEM tools.
- Experience creating workflows for Incident Response within a SIEM Tool.
- Experience working with monitoring systems supporting auditing, incident response, and system health.
- Experience configuring and deploying data collection for a variety of operating systems and networking platforms.
- The ability to troubleshoot problems related to data solutions
- Implement and configure SIEM software and appliance-based products in large enterprise and Government environments.
- Advise best practice on SIEM products to both technical and relatively non-technical personnel.
- Ability to clean and write the code across systems
