About Us: The client is a leading digital consultancy firm known for its solutions and expertise in web development and digital marketing. They are currently seeking a skilled Sitecore Contractor to join their team for a 6-month contract to work on an exciting project for an end-client.
Position Overview: They are looking for an experienced Sitecore Contractor to help us build a new website for their end-client. As a Sitecore Contractor, you will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and maintaining the website using Sitecore 9.2, Microsoft Azure, React, Glass Mapper, MVC, JSON, and other cutting-edge technologies.
This is a remote position and falls outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our development team and stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.
- Develop, configure, and customize Sitecore solutions to meet project specifications.
- Integrate third-party systems and services into the Sitecore platform.
- Implement best practices for Sitecore development and optimization.
- Work with Microsoft Azure to ensure seamless hosting and scaling of the website.
- Utilize React, Glass Mapper, MVC, and JSON to create dynamic and interactive web features.
- Perform code reviews and ensure code quality and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working with Sitecore 9 and related technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure for cloud hosting.
- Proficiency in React, Glass Mapper, MVC, and JSON.
- Solid understanding of web development best practices and design patterns.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
