- Start date: ASAP
- Duration: 12 months
- Location: 1 week in office - 3 weeks from home - Dublin
- Rate: €350 - €400 per day
- 6+ years Software Quality Engineering experience
- Proven experience with test automation tools and building automation frameworks
- Strong experience with continuous integration practices and automated deployment tools
- Experience in designing and delivering innovative quality frameworks
The Skills you will bring
- Languages: Extensive experience in coding/Scripting languages such as Java, Python and JavaScript
- Test Automation: Proficient in multiple industry tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Protractor, Cucumber, Karate
- Databases: Extensive experience in working with relational databases such as MySQL and Oracle
- Cloud: Experienced with cloud services provider's offerings (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud)
- Collaborative in your approach, actively contributing to how work gets completed
- Knowledge of secure coding standards and best practices
The Purpose of your role
- Continually grow your skill set with the use of company fortnightly full learning days
- Conduct technical design discussion with engineering, ensuring best engineering and automation practices, code quality and application stability
- Recommend and influence decision making to define suitable automation frameworks
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure database integrity and stable test environments
- Align automation with development using continuous integration and continuous testing processes
- Develop, evaluate, and implement improved processes, methods and tools to continually improve software delivery effectiveness
- Design and implement test automation approaches and test automation for Agile software development
- Actively participate in all Agile Ceremonies including elaboration and planning
- Work collaboratively with the team to create a quality strategy
- Analyze and report test results, project tracking and product release readiness
