Role: Solution Analyst
Location: Sheffield
Duration: 6 months contract
Rate: £358 per day Inside IR35 status

Job description:

Review Requirement and provide inputs to BA capturing requirement. ie requirement scoping clarification.

Participate in the technical design and prepare solution proposal for Cards work stream.

Work closely with Cards Architect or other domain Architect to align cards solution with architecture framework. Also work with other solution analyst/SME including retail product IT application teams, Infrastructure, Data, Digital, Risk, Security and Software to align the solution.

Own the cards solution and act as a solution funnel to discuss with IT teams involved.

To plan and create solution proposal; sequence diagrams; Maintaining interface tracker to answer business requirements and ensure solution is compliant with agreed architecture.

Participate with business discussion along with BA to clarify the requirement scope and explaining the solution to business.

Will be acting as a bridge between cross functional IT teams and bridge the gap and resolve conflicts.

Technically lead the development team to ensure successfully delivery to the highest quality and drive adoption of best practices.

Identify functional and technical dependencies across propositions, teams and platforms.

Identify risk, issues, and highlight to Cards Programmer as and when applicable. And suggest a mitigation plan for the same.

Cards - covering all stages of the card processing, including Issuing, Authorization & Settlement, knowledge & experience of Industry Standards.

Producing Solution Proposal for project(s)

Reviewing the designs that have been produced by Engineering teams using guidance and patterns that have been provided to them by Architecture.

Validating that solutions align to the strategies of the Bank (eg, Retail & Corporate Cards & Group)

Working with the engineering community to deliver solutions primarily in an agile way.

Domain driven design, with working knowledge of the Software Architecture

Experience of defining API & microservice architecture solutions.

Proven experience in defining & documenting As_Is & Target Architecture defining services & integrated applications working with stakeholders to help define & deliver strategic objectives & roadmaps, being Embedded into the functional domain, balancing business requirements with functional & technical strategy to ensure we deliver sustainable solutions.

Be passionate about driving and leading change by creating practical, workable architectures aligned to IT principles and following appropriate governance.

Collaboration is critical, the ability to communicate concepts, challenge and influence a diverse set of stakeholder and colleagues.

Knowledge of planning and organizing concepts and best practices with the ability to manage multiple projects, being flexible with a can do' attitude with a strong sense of initiative with the ability to learn fast
