Rate range: GBP /Day
Possibility of remote work: Hybrid, 3 days a week
Contract duration: 1 year
Location: Canary Wharf, London

JOB DETAILS
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, implementation, and management of observability frameworks and infrastructure, ensuring robust monitoring, logging, and tracing Splunk.
Oversee the automation of infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
Provide technical authority, mentorship, and guidance to the engineering team.
Develop and optimize ETL pipelines and data engineering workflows to ensure seamless data integration and analytics.
Manage and maintain containerization and virtualization solutions, leveraging tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Collaborate with Treasury teams to ensure the reliability and scalability of systems, specifically within Wallstreet FX environments.
Drive incident response and post-mortem analysis to enhance system resilience.
Required Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in a lead DevOps role with a strong focus on observability and automation.
Extensive hands-on experience with Splunk and expertise in observability tools and frameworks.
Demonstrated experience with PRO IV and Wallstreet FX in Treasury environments.
Strong knowledge of ETL processes and data engineering principles.
Proficiency in managing cloud infrastructure across major providers (AWS, Azure).
Advanced skills in containers and virtualization technologies.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to system optimization.
