Methods are looking for an experienced System Reform Funding Adviser/Strategy Adviser to work on a new 6 month contract assignment. Off Payroll Rules Apply (IR35)
You will work across government to deliver funding reforms, as part of a System Reform programme, to support departments to use modern, agile, multidisciplinary and product-centric ways of working.
As Funding adviser for the System Reform programme you will be responsible for:
- Implementing a wide-ranging and ambitious programme of funding reforms, which aim to support digital transformation across government
- Management of agile funding pilots, with the aim of scaling a new approach to funding in government
- Management and oversight of capital and resource funding Switches in departments
- Delivering specific work packages including systemic reforms and pilots of new funding approaches across government
- Working closely with cross-government stakeholders including HMT and departments
- Establishing and supporting pilots of new ways of working in department
This role requires you to:
- Have a clear understanding of the current funding model in government, and how this impacts on digital delivery
- Have experience of working in government digital delivery and digital transformation, including experience of collaboration with policy and operational delivery teams
- Be a keen proponent of modern digital ways of working, with an appetite to drive systemic reform
- Communicate clearly and influence stakeholders within and across teams and organisational boundaries
- Understand the bigger picture and impact of their work, can plan strategically for the future and can communicate effectively with senior leaders to influence future strategies
