Trade Compliance SME
At the moment we are looking for one of our clients for an IDT Trade Compliance Subject Matter Expert (SME). As part of the Trade Compliance team at our client, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with regulatory expectations and upholding our values. With the trade compliance landscape becoming increasingly complex, your expertise will contribute to building trust in Shell and safeguarding the company from regional and international sanctions.

Requirements:
- Proven working experience in Trade Compliance in the Technology Digital Space
- Knowledge of UK, EU, and US Trade Compliance laws and regulations, including sanctions, import and export controls
- Broad understanding of Trade Compliance risks and impacts
- Experience in controls, governance, risk, and assurance, with knowledge of the Control Framework
- Knowledge of ECCN category 5
Role Details:
- Provide subject matter expertise and support for Trade Compliance topics
- Operate and improve LOD1 rules, controls, and quality assurance
- Foster stakeholder relationships with business leaders and the TCE network
- Strengthen compliance culture through training, communication, and intervention
- Stay updated on the external Trade Compliance landscape and provide actionable insights
