Job Spec :-

UC Solution Design & Implementation
  1. Design and implement Unified Communications architectures that meet business requirements and align with the organization’s technology strategy.
  2. Perform network assessments to evaluate UC readiness and provide recommendations to enhance performance, quality, and reliability.
Configuration & Management
  1. Configure, manage, and maintain UC devices including:
  2. IP phones
  3. Video conferencing systems
  4. Collaboration endpoints
  5. Integrate UC solutions with enterprise systems such as Active Directory, Exchange, and other IT infrastructure components.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
  1. Provide L2/L3 technical support for UC solutions and troubleshoot complex UC issues.
  2. Work closely with vendors and service providers to ensure optimal UC system performance and timely resolution of escalations.
Documentation & Process Management
  1. Develop and maintain comprehensive UC documentation:
  2. Network diagrams
  3. Device configuration records
  4. Troubleshooting procedures
  5. Architecture and standards documentation
Virtualization Management
  1. Manage virtual machines using industry?standard virtualization tools (VMware, Hyper?V, etc.), including:
  2. Creating and configuring VMs
  3. Maintaining VM storage, compute, and networking
  4. Ensuring high availability and performance of virtualized components
Security & Compliance
  1. Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect UC environments from threats such as malware, unauthorized access, and system vulnerabilities.
  2. Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and best practices.
Continuous Improvement
  1. Stay up to date with emerging UC technologies, industry trends, and vendor updates.
  2. Propose enhancements and improvements to UC infrastructure and operational processes.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications (Optional – can be added if you want)
  1. Experience with Microsoft Teams, Cisco UC, Zoom, AudioCodes, or SBC technologies
  2. Knowledge of VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP, QoS)
  3. Strong understanding of firewalls, DNS, DHCP, and network fundamentals
  4. Experience with monitoring and management tools related to UC environments
  5. Certifications such as:
  6. Microsoft Teams Voice Engineer (MS-720)
  7. Cisco CCNP Collaboration
  8. AudioCodes ACA/ACP
  9. ITIL Foundation
