Endeavour Recruitment have an excellent long term contract opportunity for a skilled Unix focus Data Science (IA) (CADI3) package integrator to join their client based in Luxembourg.

Candidates MUST be eligible to work in Luxembourg to be considered for this role.

We are looking for candidates fluent in French & English.

Daily rate: up to €443 per day DOE

The role:
You will be defining technical solutions, installing applications and integrating them into the information system while respecting stability, performance and security criteria, these applications with a level of complexity which can range from simple 3-tier applications to more complex and heterogeneous systems.

On a technical level, these include both containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes) and classic WebSphere/Tomcat applications.

The collaboration and communication aspects are also very important. The integrator has numerous contacts with the network/OS/DB/Middleware teams but he/she is also the privileged point of contact from IT production to the development teams, to the Data Science team, to audit, and to operational security.

Main responsibilities:
Install, configure, industrialize applications developed by the Data Science (IA) team
Install, configure, industrialize Unix software packages (mainly Linux Redhat) which are the responsibility of the IT-Packages squad
Migrate Unix software packages
Participate in defining the target architecture of Unix software packages and integrate them into the information system according to the decisions made
Provide non-production and production support for these software packages
Take charge of application incidents that are under the responsibility of the squad, investigate and resolve them (including performance problems), coordinate corrective actions if necessary
Write and maintain technical documentation in order to guarantee the proper operation of the solutions put in place, including the continuity plan allowing the resumption of activity in the event of a disaster
Carry out production launches while respecting change management procedures
Participate in quarterly releases
Handle requests sent to the squad via the JIRA tool and monitor the backlog
