Job - Workday Finance Specialist

Client Location - Netherlands

Remote work offering - 2 days per week

Client Industry - Finance

In this role, it is crucial to collaborate with global process owners to maximize business benefits from Workday. Additionally, you will work with other Workday specialists, business stakeholders, Workday technical experts (within IT), our Application Management Services partner, and Workday itself.

The main processes currently in scope within Workday include Core Finance, Financial Accounting, Expenses, Supplier Accounts, Banking and Settlement, Customer Accounts, Procurement, Business Assets, Consolidation, and the upcoming Workday Help implementation. We also have a wide range of live HCM modules.

As a Workday specialist, you will help get the most out of Workday by:
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to understand their requirements, analyze business processes, and translate them into effective Workday configurations.
  • Implementing/configuring new Workday functionalities and optimizing existing ones in collaboration with process owners and other teams.
  • Working with teams to improve the user experience of Workday.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Workday functionality promptly.
  • Ensuring the delivery of Workday releases, overseeing their impact on the organization, and managing communication/training regarding incoming changes or new functionalities.
  • Maintaining knowledge of trends and developments in Workday and Finance and Procurement in general.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • At least 2+ years of experience configuring and optimizing Workday solutions.
  • Knowledge of Workday Finance and/or Procurement.
  • A proactive and autonomous work style.
  • An analytical mind with strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users, verbally and in writing.
  • Fluency in English.
  • The ability to work well in diverse and multinational teams.
