I'm currently looking for an SAP PPM/PS Consultant.

Summary – SAP PPM / PS Consultant

Main Skill / Experience Required: Proven expertise in SAP Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) and SAP Project Systems (PS), including portfolio structuring, financial planning, resource allocation, and integration with SAP FI/CO, MM, SD
Period: Start ASAP – no fixed end date (application may close early if sufficient candidates are found)
Workload: 32–40 hours/week
Onsite/Remote: 50% onsite / 50% remote Office days: Monday and Wednesday
Mandatory Languages: Dutch
Location: Arnhem, Netherlands

You will help to transition to SAP S/4HANA using your expertise in SAP PPM.

You’ll work together with an experienced team to make the transition successful — and ensure that the system continues to run optimally afterwards.

You will create and maintain the portfolio hierarchies, and you are also familiar with financial planning and integration with SAP FICO.

Your responsibilities

SAP Portfolio and Project Management (PPM)

Project and Portfolio Management: Expertise in setting up and managing projects and portfolios, including prioritization and resource management.
Portfolio Structure: Ability to create and maintain portfolio hierarchies and define portfolio elements.
Financial Planning: Experience with financial planning within PPM and financial integration with SAP Project System (PS).
Resource Planning: Experience with resource allocation and capacity planning within PPM, and resource integration with SAP PS.
Portfolio Reporting: Knowledge of reporting capabilities within PPM to monitor and analyse portfolio performance.
Workflow Configuration: Configuration of workflows and approval processes within PPM.

SAP Project Systems (PS)

Project Structures: Experience setting up Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) within SAP PS.
Financial Management: Solid knowledge of cost and revenue planning, including budgeting and forecasting in SAP PS.
Integration: Knowledge of integration points between SAP PS and other SAP modules such as SAP FI/CO, SAP MM, and SAP SD.
Period-End Closing: Experience with period-end closing activities such as results analysis and settlements.
Reporting and Analysis: Skilled in using SAP reporting tools and techniques for project control and analysis.

You’ll work with the colleagues in the SAP PPM team to make the transition to S/4HANA as smooth as possible. You will also collaborate with colleagues from the SAP PS and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)teams.

Your profile

You are analytical and know how to solve problems effectively. You are proactive and customer-oriented. In addition, you have:

At least 5 years of proven experience with SAP PPM and SAP PS applications.
Proven knowledge and experience in portfolio management, project management, and planning & budgeting processes.
Knowledge of SAP FI & CO is an advantage.
Analytical and problem-solving skills: Strong analytical abilities and the capability to solve complex problems effectively.
Communication skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Independent and team-oriented: Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Proactive and customer-focused: A proactive attitude and customer-oriented approach to delivering solutions.
